Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Shopify App Developer with hands-on experience in Python to join our development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom Shopify apps and backend services that enhance eCommerce functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps using the Shopify API (REST & GraphQL).
Work on backend services and integrations using Python (Django/Flask).
Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members.
Troubleshoot and optimize apps for performance, usability, and scalability.
Implement secure, maintainable code with clean architecture and proper documentation.
Requirements:
Proven experience in Shopify app development (public/private/custom apps).
Strong Python skills with frameworks like Django or Flask.
Familiarity with Shopify Liquid, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with webhooks, third-party APIs, and OAuth.
Good understanding of RESTful API design and database systems (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
Preferred:
Experience with Shopify Plus.
Knowledge of CI/CD and version control (Git).
