What you’ll do: Work on stress testing and optimizing our Python code base that runs on our kitchen robot Work with our current stack that includes Python (application), C/C++ (real-time), and Raspbian OS Write code for new features Develop test schemes for various functionalities of the machine Write interface code to test various actuators/sensors Build prototype breadboard-style setups to enable our mechanical/design engineers to test various actuators or sensors that will be added to the next version of our product Create electronic setups either using Arduino or Raspberry Pi to test various functionalities Test and debug existing PCBs Write technical documentation Work with the assembly team and develop test jig setups Requirements What we think you need to succeed in this role: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Other degrees will be considered if relevant experience exists. Professional proficiency in Python with demonstrated experience writing scripts, automation, and/or unit tests. Practical working knowledge and application of URAT, I2C, SPI, Socket.io, MQTT or other networking communication protocols. Basic experience with microcontrollers such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ARM Cortex and more complex embedded systems.
