Monitor water flow, pressure, and distribution efficiency across multiple locations. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize system failures. Monitor and address leakages, equipment breakdowns, and pipeline repairs proactively. Ensure timely servicing of pumps, valves, filtration systems, and water treatment units. Manage emergency maintenance activities, including breakdown response and troubleshooting. Monitor the health and lifecycle of water supply infrastructure assets. Optimize energy and operational efficiency to reduce costs and improve sustainability. Develop plans for system upgrades, automation, and technology integration. Strong Liaison Capability Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary O&M team, including engineers, technicians, and operators. Prepare and manage O&M budgets, cost estimations, and expenditure tracking Use data analytics and digital monitoring tools (SCADA, GIS, IoT sensors) for performance improvement. Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as system uptime, efficiency, water losses, and response times. Provide regular reports on operations, maintenance activities, and compliance status. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, electrical engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or Environmental Engineering. 10+ years of experience in operations and maintenance of water supply projects Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance strategies. Familiarity with government water supply policies, environmental laws, and sustainability practices. Proficiency in SCADA, GIS, ERP, and asset management software. Skills & Competencies: Leadership and team management in a large-scale O&M environment. Technical expertise in water treatment and distribution infrastructure. Problem-solving and crisis management in operations and maintenance. Budgeting and financial planning for O&M cost control. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
