Job Title: Manufacturing Senior Supervisor

Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Senior Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations on the production floor, ensuring that manufacturing goals are met in terms of safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This leadership role includes supervising frontline staff, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and coordinating cross-functional activities to maintain production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise production teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor and manage production schedules and adjust workflows as needed to meet deadlines.
• Coach, train, and evaluate team members to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments to resolve production issues.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, quality, downtime, and scrap.
• Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain accurate production records and participate in audits as required.
• Manage inventory levels and raw material availability in coordination with supply chain.
• Conduct regular safety meetings, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with ISO or other regulatory standards as applicable.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of lean manufacturing, quality systems, and production metrics.
• Ability to read blueprints, production drawings, and technical documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
