Senior SQL Cloud Database Administrator (DBA)

You will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing cloud-based SQL databases in AWS and GCP environments to ensure high availability and performance. This includes designing and implementing scalable and secure database structures, planning and executing data migration, monitoring performance, and fine-tuning queries for efficiency. You will also be tasked with implementing database security protocols, managing backup and recovery strategies, and performing regular maintenance tasks such as patching and troubleshooting. Collaboration with developers, DevOps, and data engineers is essential to support application development and deployment. You will be expected to maintain data quality, consistency, and governance across distributed systems and stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in database management. The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator with expertise in AWS and GCP cloud platforms. Strong knowledge of SQL database design, implementation, and optimization is required, along with experience in data migration to cloud environments. Proficiency in performance monitoring, query optimization, database security protocols, and compliance regulations is essential.
