Senior Scrum Master

As a Senior Scrum Master with 7 to 10 years of experience, you will be a vital part of our supply chain technology team in Hyderabad. Your role will involve overseeing multiple scrum teams, ensuring agile practices are implemented effectively, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Working closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders, you will be instrumental in delivering high-impact projects that enhance our retail and e-commerce operations. Your key responsibilities will include facilitating Scrum Events such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to keep teams aligned and focused on delivering high-quality products. You will guide agile practices by mentoring and coaching scrum teams to foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and improvement. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving impediments that may affect team progress, collaborating with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure clear communication of project status and timelines. Monitoring team performance using agile metrics and KPIs, such as velocity, burndown charts, and cycle time, will be crucial for providing insights and driving improvement. You will continuously assess and enhance agile processes and practices within the teams, leveraging feedback and lessons learned to optimize delivery. Proactively identifying potential risks and dependencies, you will work with the team and stakeholders to mitigate them and ensure successful project delivery. In addition to your hands-on experience as a Scrum Master, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, with a Master's degree being a plus. Possessing certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) is required, while advanced certifications like SAFe Scrum Master or Certified Agile Coach are highly desirable. A deep understanding of agile principles, frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), and best practices is essential, along with expertise in Finance, Procurement, and Sales business domains within the retail or e-commerce industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels. Your strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues, will be critical.
