Senior QA Engineer - II

Responsibilities

• Creating and developing automation for the product and optimizing automation with CI/CD.
• Working side-by-side with developers and peers to create and execute test plans for new features before their announcement and release.
• Determining the reproduction steps, scope, and impact of bugs to make it clear how to prioritize.
• Escalating critical bugs and minimising the manual efforts in application testing and delivery.
• Providing feedback on new features before integrating them into future releases.
  

Requirements

• Experience with Selenium and mobile app automation.
• Experience with programming languages, eg, Java/Python.
• Understanding of the TestNG framework.
• Experience with TestRail or any other test case management system.
• Experience with Software version control (eg, GIT).
• Understanding of mobile app automation tools/frameworks such as Appium, BrowserStack, etc.
• Experience with designing an end-to-end test-automation suite for a module/component/product.
• Solid understanding of test planning, test case writing skills.
• Clear communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with J meter.
• Direct experience with testing Flutter apps.
• Experience with white-box automation testing, API contract testing, and quality assurance.
• 5 years of experience in QA / Software testing.
• 2 years of experience in mobile app testing.
• An engineering or science background is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree and above is preferred.
• Specialization in Computer Science or MOOCs (edX, Coursera) certifications is a bonus.
