You will be responsible for specific proposals in which our standard services need to be adapted. Such proposals will go above and beyond our standard concepts and require a proposal specialist who will tailor the proposal to articulate and advance our client engagement to the next commercially viable stage.
Such tailor made proposals will be connected to global and regional opportunities consisting of our major concepts such as staffing, inhouse, perm, RCS/MSP or RPO.
You will be able to provide answers to our client proposals in which our standard content will need to be tailored providing the right level of insight and expertise to solve our clients talent challenges.
You will be discovering and owning parts of a proposal which are specific and require expertise to author, research, communicate and complete the overall proposal.
In doing so you will be working with a peer group who has close collaboration with our pursuit leads, global and local operating companies and commercial teams for sales and account management. Keeping informed and updated about the randstad group is essential for this role.
You will build up further relationships and insights about the company which will support the immediate needs and aspirations of our clients.
Ultimately you will leverage these insights to tailor bid content and feedback to our global bid team for future reusability. Keeping a high level of quality and continuous advancement shaping the future of our industry.
● pursuit leaders subject matter experts within Randstad enterprise, Randstad Sourceright, local operating companies e.g pricing, solution design, implementation and operational stakeholders 3rd party providers, e.g., HR tech/innovation or service partner in other countries sales & account management leaders other functional areas within Randstad and operating company stakeholders e.g Key Account executives team up with a pursuit team to author specific content which tailors our proposal, such a proposal may be structured following a client format or we may decide to tailor our response using a tailor-made Randstad format.
● ensure the content flows and fits with the overall proposal, taking ownership to adapt a
proposal from start to finish.
● provide answers and content which is relevant to the client's challenge and engages
stakeholders with the right information.
● leverages industry insights and client culture to create impact by tailoring a proposal to the
client stakeholders' group, in doing so you will gain access to client account plans and stakeholder maps.
● uses the bid platform to produce tailored content and supports the upkeep of the content library
to keep it relevant after each deliverable is submitted.
● interacting with multiple stakeholders to validate any content is professional and uses your own
expertise and common sense to bring attention to any requirements that seem unrealistic.
● proactively manage your own workload and communications to inform of progress and seek
clarification as soon as possible in case of any doubts.
● work towards deadlines.
● participates in team virtual meetings, checkpoints and group townhalls.
● supports to define and catalogue client questions at least once per quarter.
● keep up to date with Randstad concepts and developments in the labor market.
Education
● University/Post Graduate or equivalent professional & intellectual.
Experience
● written English grammar, spelling & vocabulary,
● ability to summarize and simplify content
● excellent communication skills
● handling confidential information e.g., innovation, talent hiring volumes
● worked in a virtual commercial or editorial environment
Knowledge
● affinity with HR/staffing/talent models
● understanding of the sales process and sales cycle end to end
● digital fluency with using a content management/authoring tool or equivalent
Additional skills needed
● ability to work with deadlines
● hands-on approach to lead by example.
