Job Title: Senior Material Handling Executive / Incharge Location: Gurgaon, Haryana Department: Stores / Logistics / Supply Chain Experience Required: 8-10 years Qualification: B. Tech Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily material movement activities including receiving, unloading, storing, and issuing of materials. Ensure accurate documentation and system entries (GRN, stock transfers, material issue slips). Coordinate with procurement, production, and quality departments for timely material availability. Monitor material inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical audits. Implement and maintain proper material storage practices (FIFO, LIFO, labeling, binning, segregation). Supervise and guide material handlers, forklift operators, and store assistants. Ensure compliance with safety guidelines during material movement and storage (PPE usage, safe stacking, etc.). Handle non-moving, rejected, or surplus material and coordinate with relevant departments for disposal or reuse. Operate or oversee the use of material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors). Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for efficient material flow. Generate and review reports on material status, inventory aging, and shortages. Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods and coordination with logistics partners as required. Participate in ERP implementation and usage for inventory and material tracking. Train team members on SOPs, safety protocols, and proper handling techniques. Support internal and external audits related to inventory and material control. Preferred Experience: Experience in the electrical, electronics, or automotive manufacturing industry. Hands-on with lean inventory practices and warehouse automation systems.
