Senior GCP Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a skilled GCP Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and services on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with GCP services, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure using GCP services.
  • Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
  • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
  • Optimize GCP costs and improve infrastructure efficiency.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance using GCP Operations Suite (Stackdriver).
  • Ensure cloud environments are secure and compliant with best practices.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams.


Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in GCP
  • Strong understanding of GCP services: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, VPC, IAM, etc.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools.
  • Good knowledge of containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes.
  • Experience in CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Shell).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, security, and firewalls in the cloud.


Good to Have:

  • GCP Professional certifications
  • Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud setups
  • Familiarity with other cloud providers (AWS, Azure)
