Senior Finance Associate

We are preferring non-profit or think-tank experience for this role.

As a Senior Finance Associate at our think tank, you will help manage daily finances, support budgeting, make sure we follow grant rules, and help with long-term financial planning. You’ll work with leadership and program teams, turning financial data into useful information to help us make good decisions and grow our impact. This job is for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who wants to deepen their finance expertise and make a difference in policy research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keep accurate financial records and files, make sure we follow all rules.
• Prepare and support monthly and yearly financial reports, budgets, and audits.
• Help make presentations for meetings and donors.
• Ensure all transactions follow policies and donor rules.
• Assist with special projects and suggest ways to improve how we do things.
• Work with other teams to solve financial questions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar.
• 5–7 years’ finance or accounting experience (development sector experience is a plus).
• Skilled in Tally accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of financial statements and accounting basics.
