Senior Executive - Packaging

The person will be responsible for driving innovative, functional, and sustainable packaging solutions that align with brand aesthetics and business goals. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop packaging concepts, manage projects from ideation to execution, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Packaging Design & Development:

• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and design teams to create

packaging solutions for beauty and personal care products.

• Develop innovative packaging concepts that reflect brand identity while ensuring

functionality and consumer convenience.

• Research trends in packaging materials, technologies, and sustainability initiatives.

2. Project Management:

• Manage end-to-end packaging development projects, including timelines, budgets,

and deliverables.

• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure timely

project completion.

• Oversee prototype development and approval processes.

3. Material & Vendor Management:

• Source and evaluate packaging materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and

compliance with sustainability goals.

• Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the best quality and service.

4. Quality & Compliance:

• Conduct tests to ensure packaging meets regulatory, safety, and quality standards.

• Address quality issues during production and post-launch.

5. Sustainability Initiatives:

• Champion eco-friendly packaging solutions in alignment with organizational

sustainability goals.

• Identify and implement opportunities to reduce packaging waste.

6. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of packaging specifications, testing results, and project

updates.

• Present project status and outcomes to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging (Regular)-Indian Institute of Packaging

• 3-4 years of experience in packaging development, preferably in the beauty and

personal care industry.

• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and regulatory

requirements.

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

•Experience with sustainable packaging initiatives.

• Familiarity with global regulatory standards in beauty and personal care industry.
