Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the construction industry and must be capable of independently handling accounts, taxation, audits, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor day-to-day accounting operations.
• Prepare and manage books of accounts, GST returns, TDS, PF/ESI, and other statutory compliance.
• Finalization of accounts and preparation of balance sheets, P&L statements.
• Handle project-based accounting including cost control and budgeting.
• Reconciliation of bank accounts, vendor payments, and receivables.
• Coordinate with internal teams for billing, site expenses, and work progress updates.
• Handle audits, coordinate with CA firms, and assist in government inspections.
• Manage payroll, invoicing, contractor payments, and financial reporting.
• Maintain financial records as per company and government norms.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA in Finance / Equivalent.
• 5-10 years of relevant accounting experience in the construction or infrastructure industry.
• Proficient in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Knowledge of latest accounting standards, GST, TDS, PF/ESI rules.
• Ability to handle audits and coordinate with external consultants.
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with experience in construction companies will be given preference.
• Must be well-versed in government project billing and documentation.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
• Location: Should be based in or willing to travel to Faridabad.
