Role & responsibilities Involve migration wave execution for Windows workloads Ensure domain join, AD registration, DNS, IP settings, and OU policies are properly configured Troubleshoot AD join failures, GPO misalignments, AV agent malfunctions Support and coach junior engineers during cutover sprints Validate logs, services, AV compliance, and patch levels post-migration Collaborate with app and infrastructure teams during Hypercare testing Perform rollback or failback procedures if required Maintain escalation logs and wave completion status Review and update migration runbooks for future reuse Preferred candidate profile Expertise in Windows Server 2012 R2/2016/2019/2022 Cluster Management (Windows Failover Cluster, shared disks, heartbeat monitoring) Familiarity with HCX, Zerto migration tools VM template handling and guest OS customization via vSphere Familiarity with FT (Fault Tolerance) and RDMs in vSphere environments Active Directory/LDAP join validation, GPO inheritance, OU policies Firewall, antivirus, and system hardening checks Database awareness (MSSQL) to help triage connectivity or service dependencies during migration Hands-on with PowerShell for troubleshooting and scripting (GPO, firewall, services) Windows Group Policies, login scripts, roaming profiles Event log analysis and service failure remediation Antivirus agent management and log validation (Defender, Symantec, Trend Micro etc.) SCCM/WSUS client troubleshooting Disk management, network adapters, firewall rule validation Prefer to have troubleshooting basic VMware issues related to Virtual Machines Note:We are looking for candidates with max notice of 0-30 Days.Candidates willing to relocate to the above locations are encouraged to apply.
