Job Description

Salesperson Responsibilities: Client Acquisition: Identifying and pursuing new sales leads, developing and maintaining relationships with potential and existing clients. Product Knowledge: Developing a comprehensive understanding of the printing equipment, services, and solutions offered by the company. Sales Presentations: Creating and delivering effective sales presentations to demonstrate the value proposition of the company's products and services. Negotiation and Closing: Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms of sale with clients, and closing deals to meet sales targets. Customer Relationship Management: Maintaining customer accounts, following up with clients to ensure satisfaction, and addressing any concerns or issues. Market Research: Conducting market research to identify new opportunities, analyze competitor activity, and stay informed about industry trends. After-Sales Service: Providing after-sales support to clients, including installation assistance, training, and ongoing technical support.  Combined Responsibilities: Hybrid Role: The technician may also be involved in sales-related tasks, such as demonstrating new equipment to potential customers, providing technical expertise during sales presentations, and offering after-sales service support. Lead Generation: Generating leads for the sales team by providing excellent technical support and building strong client relationships. Cross-Training: Participating in cross-training activities to develop skills in both technical and sales aspects of the role.  Installation and Setup: Installing and configuring new printing machines according to specifications, ensuring proper functionality and integration with existing systems. Maintenance and Repair: Performing routine maintenance tasks, diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues on various printing equipment (e.g., laser, inkjet, multifunction devices), and replacing parts as needed. Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving technical problems with printing equipment, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime, and maintaining detailed records of repairs and maintenance. Technical Support: Providing technical support to users, including training on proper operation and maintenance procedures, and assisting with software-related printing issues. Inventory Management: Ordering and managing printer supplies and parts inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels to support maintenance and repair activities. Collaboration: Working with other technicians, sales teams, and clients to address complex technical issues and ensure optimal equipment performance. Staying Updated: Keeping up-to-date with the latest printing technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
