Job responsibilities – Sales Manager for Pharma Company Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet business targets. Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. Maintain strong relationships with doctors, chemists, hospitals, and stockists. Plan and organize CMEs, product launches, and promotional campaigns. Train and support Medical Representatives (MRs) for product knowledge and field execution. Review sales reports and MIS regularly and take corrective actions when needed. Ensure timely reporting of field activity, customer feedback, and sales performance. Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional inputs and materials. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical practices. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, or related field (MBA preferred). 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance. Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical products and therapeutic areas.
