About Kriti Magazine: Kriti Magazine is a newly launched and well-received publication dedicated to the revival and celebration of Indian textile heritage and the principles of slow fashion . Our content highlights the rich history, exquisite craftsmanship, and contemporary relevance of Indian textiles, promoting mindful consumption and a deep appreciation for heritage crafts. We are looking for a driven and results-oriented intern to help us expand our reach and grow our readership. About the Internship: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both B2B and B2C sales within the media industry, all while championing the important cause of Indian textile heritage. The Sales Intern will play a crucial role in identifying potential clients and readers, initiating contact, and securing sales for Kriti Magazine. This position requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a passion for connecting people with meaningful content. Responsibilities: Market Research: Identify potential B2B partners (e.g., boutiques, cultural institutions, educational organizations, related businesses) and B2C readers interested in Indian textile heritage and slow fashion. Outreach & Lead Generation: Initiate contact with prospective clients and readers through various channels (email, phone, social media). Sales Pitch Development: Assist in crafting compelling sales pitches and presentations tailored for different audiences (B2B and B2C). Relationship Building: Support in nurturing relationships with potential and existing clients/readers. Sales Execution: Work towards meeting sales targets for both magazine subscriptions/purchases and potential B2B collaborations. Reporting: Track sales activities, leads, and progress, providing regular updates to the team. Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial and marketing teams to understand content and promotional strategies. Requirements: Currently enrolled as a pre-final year student in an accredited Indian University. Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications , or a related field. A strong interest in and understanding of Indian textile heritage, slow fashion , and cultural promotion. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive approach. Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable initiating contact with new people. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Comfortable working independently in a remote environment. Prior experience in sales, customer service, or public speaking is a plus. Details: Duration: 3 months Time Commitment: Approximately 3 hours per day, 5 days per week. Location: Completely remote (online). Stipend: This is an unpaid internship .
