Job Description: Sales Engineer – Packaging Machine Manufacturing Company

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer /Sales Executive to join our team in the Printing, Packaging & Labelling machinery manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with excellent sales skills to provide tailored solutions to clients, drive revenue growth, and strengthen customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales and Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the packaging industry.
• Generate leads through market research, networking, and attending industry events.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Technical Expertise:
• Understand the technical aspects of Printing, Packaging & Labelling machinery and tailor solutions to meet customer needs.
• Provide technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of the equipment.
• Act as a liaison between the customer and the technical team to ensure customized solutions and smooth implementation.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing exceptional support.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
• Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
• Market Analysis:
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Provide feedback to the product development team to align machinery offerings with market demands.
• Proposal and Contract Management:
• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure deals that are mutually beneficial.
• Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, production, and customer support, to ensure project success.
• Provide insights and feedback to improve product offerings and customer experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the packaging machinery or related industry.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and explain complex machinery.
• Proven sales track record with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
