Job Description

  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of the reception/front desk team.
  • Ensure prompt and courteous service to all patients, visitors, doctors, and staff.
  • Coordinate front desk duties including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and telephonic inquiries.
  • Handle patient complaints, escalations, and service recovery as needed.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies and medical ethics.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of receptionists and front desk staff.
  • Prepare and maintain duty rosters for front office staff.
  • Coordinate with billing, nursing, and other departments for seamless patient service.
  • Monitor cleanliness and readiness of the reception and waiting areas.
  • Maintain visitor log, issue passes, and ensure smooth visitor management.
  • Maintain accurate records and daily reports related to front office operations.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, especially during emergencies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field (Hospital Administration preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare front office, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language.
  • Proficiency in using hospital management software and MS Office.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Ability to manage pressure in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Patient-centric approach with a calm and composed demeanor.
  • Flexibility for shift work if required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital workflow is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,190.62 - ₹35,000.00 per month
