Quality Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support our mechanical testing laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality policies, standards, and procedures, and will assist in maintaining a high standard of accuracy and efficiency in all testing and documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gain a thorough understanding of the laboratory’s Quality Policy and adhere to procedures in line with NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) and Indian Standards.
• Perform visual examination of samples and carry out sample preparation tasks, including cutting, grinding, and any other required procedures before testing.
• Conduct mechanical tests as per standardized protocols and testing guidelines.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers and Screw Gauges with proficiency.
• Perform and verify calculations related to mechanical testing with accuracy and consistency.
• Should Know to run the Universal tensile Machine.
• Prepare detailed and accurate test reports and support the documentation process for quality audits.
• Assist in the maintenance and proper management of the laboratory according to standard norms and safety regulations.
• Ensure daily attendance in the laboratory; regular presence in the office is mandatory.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with mechanical material testing procedures and laboratory equipment.
• Knowledge of NABL guidelines and Indian Standards is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools and performing related calculations.
• Experience in using Machines like Universal Tensile machine is an added advantage.
• Good communication and documentation skills. Should Know MS Word and Excel.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 per month
