Job Description

Prepare
bills of quantities (BOQs)
, cost estimates, and tender/contract documents.
Conduct
cost planning
, tracking expenses, and producing progress/cost reports.
Manage
change orders
, contractual variations, and claims.
Perform
site visits
to validate work quantities and monitor progress.
Assist in
procurement
, price-rate analysis, and vendor negotiations.
Provide
commercial and contractual risk assessment
throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in
Civil Engineering
or related field.
3–6 years
of experience in site-based QS work on
civil infrastructure, commercial, or industrial projects
.
7+ years of experience in civil construction cost estimation and contract management.

Key skills

Excellent numerical, analytical, and
attention to detail
skills.
Strong negotiation
, interpersonal, and communication capabilities.
Competent in project management tools (e.g. Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project).
Sound understanding of construction techniques, materials, and cost-driving factors.
