Role Overview:

The QA - QC Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the highest quality standards across all phases of construction — for both civil and marine works. The role ensures that project outputs strictly conform to engineering designs, contract specifications, applicable codes, and client requirements. The incumbent will manage third-party inspections, develop quality procedures and plans, and provide leadership on QA/QC initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and ensure adherence to QA/QC systems across the project life cycle.
• Ensure the highest quality standards in construction, installation, and bought-out items — in line with engineering drawings, specifications, codal provisions, and manufacturers’ requirements.
• Prepare Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and QA/QC procedures.
• Manage third-party inspections for bought-out materials, equipment, and components.
• Conduct internal and external audits to ensure quality system compliance.
• Monitor and review quality performance of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure that non-conformities are properly recorded, investigated, and corrective actions are implemented.
• Provide technical expertise on materials, including mix design for concrete, bitumen, and other construction materials.
• Prepare Monthly Quality Management Reports for senior management and client review.
• Interface with engineering, construction, procurement, and client representatives to ensure quality objectives are met.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Proven experience in QA/QC management on large EPC infrastructure and marine construction projects.
• In-depth understanding of QA/QC processes, codes, and standards.
• Strong knowledge of mix design for concrete and bitumen materials.
• Experience in preparing and implementing PQPs, ITPs, and conducting audits.
• Ability to manage third-party inspections and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
• Proficiency in preparing clear and concise quality reports and documentation.
• Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001 and related quality management systems.
