Job Description

Material Procurement & Planning Plan and procure raw materials based on production schedules Ensure timely availability of required materials Maintain minimum stock levels and avoid overstocking Vendor Management Identify, develop, and maintain relations with reliable vendors Take quotations, negotiate rates, and finalize orders Evaluate vendor performance on cost, quality, and delivery Cost Optimization & Negotiation Ensure best pricing through competitive analysis Maintain rate comparison and cost-saving reports Negotiate favorable terms and payment conditions Inventory Coordination Coordinate with store and production for material flow Monitor stock levels and consumption patterns Avoid material shortages or excess inventory Documentation & Compliance Generate and maintain Purchase Orders (POs) Ensure proper documentation for audit and GST compliance Track purchase invoices, payments, and delivery status Interdepartmental Coordination Liaise with Accounts, Store, and Production teams Handle urgent or emergency purchase requirements Resolve disputes or quality issues with vendors promptly
