ob Title: Government Liaison & CSR Project Coordinator Organization: VARNAVAT WELFARE  Location:GHAZIABAD  Job Type: Full-time Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in CSR, Government Liaison, or NGO Sector Salary: Negotiable based on experience Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented individual to join our NGO as a Government Liaison & CSR Project Coordinator. The candidate will be responsible for identifying CSR funding opportunities, coordinating with government bodies, PSU companies, and Members of Parliament/MLAs for project recommendations, and ensuring successful onboarding of our NGO across multiple sectors. Key Responsibilities: Liaison & Networking: Build and maintain professional relationships with MPs, MLAs, Ministry officials, and PSU CSR departments. Coordinate and follow up on recommendations from VIPs for CSR project approvals. Represent the NGO at official meetings, forums, and events. CSR & Project Management: Identify CSR project opportunities in public sector units (PSUs) and prepare proposals. Coordinate with implementing agencies and ensure timely project execution and reporting. Draft MoUs, progress reports, and fund utilization reports for CSR partners. Policy & Compliance: Stay updated with CSR rules under the Companies Act, government schemes, and sectoral regulations. Ensure NGO is registered/empanelled on portals like DARPAN, CSR Exchange, GeM, etc. Handle documentation for FCRA, 80G, 12A, and other statutory compliance. Sectoral Expansion: Enroll NGO with various ministries, departments, and portals for eligibility in government projects. Draft EOIs, RFPs, and respond to calls for proposals from government/PSU bodies. Research and suggest new domains for NGO engagement (health, education, rural dev, environment etc.) Desired Candidate Profile: Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Public Policy, Political Science, or related fields. 3+ years of relevant experience in NGO, CSR, or government relations. Strong communication skills in English and Hindi (regional language is a plus). Excellent drafting, reporting, and presentation skills. Prior experience dealing with Members of Parliament or PSU CSR departments is highly desirable. Knowledge of government schemes, CSR Acts, compliance documents, and EOI/RFP formats.
