Role & Responsibilities

Create weekly and term-wise English lesson plans aligned with NCERT/CBSE learning outcomes for Grades 1-5.
Deliver engaging, activity-based instruction that builds phonics, vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, and creative writing skills.
Use formative and summative assessments to track student progress, remediate gaps, and report achievement to stakeholders.
Integrate digital resources, storytelling, and project-based learning to foster curiosity and language fluency.
Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom climate, enforcing behaviour norms and safeguarding policies.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents on events, PTMs, and cross-curricular initiatives that enrich the English programme.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have: B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. with English specialization; minimum 2 years teaching primary English in a CBSE or equivalent school; sound knowledge of child-centred pedagogy and NEP 2020 guidelines; fluent spoken and written English; proficiency in MS Office/Google Classroom.
Preferred: CTET Paper-I clearance; training in Jolly Phonics/Whole-Language methods; experience using smart-boards or EdTech platforms; exposure to differentiated instruction and inclusive education.
