Project Manager - Refinery and Gas Project

Job Description

Education: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering Experience: Minimum 15+ years in managing large-scale EPC refinery/gas projects Role Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead large, complex EPC projects in the refinery/gas sector. The ideal candidate should bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Experience with financial management of multi-currency projects and working in operational refinery/gas plant environments is essential. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution: · Understand project scope and deliverables from ITB documents · Define Project Base Plan and key milestones with the planning team · Develop a detailed project organogram with required skillsets and timelines · Identify risks and prepare mitigation plans · Oversee execution to ensure timelines, quality, and cost objectives are met · Resource & Stakeholder Management: · Identify and manage resources – manpower, equipment, materials · Coordinate and communicate with internal departments (HSE, Supply Chain, etc.) and external stakeholders (clients, subcontractors, local authorities, vendors) · Build and lead a high-performing project team · Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards · Financial & Contractual Management: · Monitor project costs, revenues, and cash flows · Manage customer invoicing, vendor billing, and contract clauses · Handle contract changes, change orders, and claims in consultation with SBU Head · Conduct monthly risk assessments and implement mitigation measures · Ensure timely collection of Project Completion Certificate and closure of all deliverables · Project Monitoring & Reporting: · Lead daily, weekly, and monthly review meetings · Track and report progress using S-Curves and Level 4 Project Execution Plans · Prepare and review cash inflow/outflow statements and monthly budgets · Monitor project KPIs and prepare closeout reports Key Deliverables: · Level 4 Project Execution Plan · S-Curves and progress tracking · Project Budgets and Cash Flow Statements · Risk and Change Management documentation · Vendor and Contract Change Order Management · Project Closeout Report Key Relationships: Internal: Project Team, HSE, Supply Chain, QA/QC External: Client, Vendors, Subcontractors, Site Authorities, Government Agencies Desired Competencies: · Strong leadership and team management · Financial acumen in large EPC and multi-currency projects · Knowledge of international HSE standards and customer-specific practices · Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills · Proven ability to handle complex project interfaces and contract obligations #ProjectManager #EPCProjects #RefineryJobs #GasPlantJobs #MechanicalEngineering #IndustrialEngineering #ProductionEngineering #OilAndGasJobs #ProjectLeadership #EngineeringJobs #EPCExperience #HSEStandards #ContractManagement #StakeholderManagement #ConstructionJobs #EnergySector #MultiCurrencyProjects #RiskManagement #TeamLeadership #JobOpportunity #HiringNow Show more Show less
