Project Manager

Purpose of the Job

1. To manage our data center mechanical infrastructure including Chillers, Pumps, PAHU, Fan Wall units, PAC, PKDX, VRF, VRV, Piping, insulation, Ducting Thermal Storage and Buffer Tanks, Cold and Hot aisle containment, Grilles etc.
2. The candidate’s job will be to coordinate amongst vendors, OEM, Design Consultants, Project Management Consultants and internal and external processes and stake holders to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results.
3. He/ She will be the go-to person for everything involving the mechanical infrastructure including the desired time lines, cost and quality. Specific project manager responsibilities include developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation and delivering every project on time within budget and scope.

Deliverables (Maximum 5-6 key responsibilities)

1. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
2. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
3. Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
4. Ensure resource availability and allocation
5. Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
6. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
7. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
8. Report and escalate to management as needed
9. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
10. Perform risk management to minimize project risks
11. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
12. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Demonstrate (Key competencies)

1. Proven relevant work experience as a project administrator preferably in Data Center Industry
2. Solid technical background, with understanding and hands-on experience in mechanical Infrastructure
3. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
6. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
7. PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
8. Knowledge of autocad and CDCP/CDCE preferred

Educational Level

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil/Industrial Automation

Working Experience

• At least 10+ years of work experience
