Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Project Manager in Civil Engineering to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, excellent project management skills, and a thorough understanding of civil engineering principles to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.

2.Team Leadership:

• Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among team members.
• Conduct regular meetings to discuss project status, address challenges, and solve problems.

3.Stakeholder Management:

• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Prepare and present regular updates and reports for stakeholders regarding project status and challenges.

4.Quality and Safety Assurance:

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site inspections and reviews to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.

5.Financial Management:

• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure the project is delivered within financial constraints.
• Prepare financial reports and forecasts as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

• Experience:

  Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, particularly within the civil engineering sector.

• Skills:

• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction processes.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
