Job Description

Primary tasks

Compile project plans/concepts (e.g. product cost planning and personnel/investment planning for quality at the plants) and ensure adherence (e.g. resource planning, scheduling, cost center planning, etc.) in coordination with the Business Domain Project and/or Main Project Manager as well as with the departments; take action in case of deviations, if applicableParticipate in making risk analysesWork out suggestions for project organization; select appropriate staff per agreement with the supervisor and define tasks, rules and interfacesEnsure adherence to the allocated project budget; take action in the event of deviationsAct as interface between the involved internal/external departments (e.g. Main Project Manager, Business Domain Project Manager, Sub-Project Manager, customers, suppliers, specialized units, etc.)Ensure adherence to the specified project ratios/targets with regards to quality-related issues in coordination with Main Project ManagementAnalyzse and evaluate changes (internal/external, e.g. comply with quality-related parameters for the implementation of requested changes, analyze and evaluate cost and risk effects in the area of responsibility), participate in negotiations (e.g. scope and cost of changes, etc.) and ensure they are implementedCompile and review project reports, presentations and project completion documentationParticipate in optimizing/developing processes, systems and methods (e.g. make lessons learned reviews, etc.) and perform key user functions across the projects on complex issues specific to Quality)Clarify technical specifcations with the customer and compile offers with regards to quality costs in cooperation with Business Domain Project Management and other relevant specialized units, negotiate with Main Project Management in the event of excessive costs at customer’s plantClarify quality-related issues with the customer in coordination with Main Project Management and the customer and Series Project Management in accordance with the effective DRX escalation pyramid in case of escalations within the scope of life-time responsibilityProvide supprot in supplier selection and participate in compiling/completing task interface agreements with the customer in connection with suppliers of customer-nominated partsMeasure project and product maturity levels and conduct maturity level (project) reviewsCompile/develop and implement quality concepts and measures to ensure specified quality standards for new developments in cooperation with the specialized units right up to successful transfer to the production plantCoordinate all the quality issues/tasks in a project team.

Polytechnic/universtiy degree

Work experience:
