Procurement Engineer

Job Summary and Purpose:

Reporting to the Manager, the person will be responsible for processing inquiries to sales orders from customers, purchase orders to suppliers and administrative support by performing tasks related to processing orders.

This highly motivated individual will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, have strong written and verbal communication skills and be detail oriented with a high level of accuracy. Be able to work well in a team and be individually independent.

The person should have effective time management skills, analytical and problem solving skills.

Specific Responsibilities

• Processing Inquiries to Customer Orders and Purchase Orders for Suppliers
• Inquiries and Sales Orders, entering into system and checking details
• Purchase orders, creating and sending to suppliers
• Liaise with credit manager for approvals and account setup
• Followup and ensure timely receipt of goods from Suppliers
• Other administration duties as required.

Qualifications/Experience

• A minimum of bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Three (3) year of similar experience.
• Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize and work to deadlines.
• Experience in working on ERP software.
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office 

  (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  , pdf and Web Browser.

• Microsoft Outlook is an absolute must for this position.

Other Requirements

• Work Timings – Canadian ET (8.30AM to 5.30PM).
• Have computer (minimum i3, 4GB RAM) and high speed broadband internet.
