Job Description GI is seeking an experienced Inside Sales and Procurement Manager to lead and oversee our global sales and procurement operations. The candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and directing the sales and procurement teams, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality equipment and products, as well as driving sales growth, for the companys global operations.
Key Responsibilities Provide strategic direction for sales and procurement activities, aligning them with the companys overall objectivesLead and mentor the sales and procurement teams in executing effective strategies and achieving targetsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze technical specifications and customer requirements, ensuring accurate sales proposalsDevelop and execute negotiation strategies with suppliers to optimize costs, lead times, and qualityFormulate comprehensive sales and procurement strategies, including identifying potential markets and customer segmentsFoster strong relationships with suppliers and customers to drive mutually beneficial partnershipsOversee the coordination of sales and procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of products and equipmentManage and nurture the supplier and customer network, consistently evaluating performance and alignment with strategyMonitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challengesRequired skills and attributes Strong ability to analyze technical documents and customer requirements to guide sales and procurement decisionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills at a managerial levelProficiency in office software, particularly Microsoft Excel or similar toolsExpertise in negotiating commercial terms and effectively managing end-to-end sales and procurement processesExceptional leadership and team management skills to lead a globally distributed teamEffective cross-cultural communication skills for seamless coordination between Dubai and the United States officesPreferred Qualifications MBA or advanced degree in business, sales, marketing, or related fieldsBachelors degree in Engineering or related technical disciplines, with a deep understanding of customers technical needsMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managerial roles involving sales and procurement coordination in the engineering sectorLocation: Kochi, Kerala, India
