Planning Engineer

Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules to ensure timely delivery of products or completion of projects. The role involves close coordination with Global customer (Oceania, Europe, UK, USA and Japan), engineering, procurement and production teams to maintain alignment with project timelines and goals. Major Responsibilities Manage the dispatch team to monitor product packing and oversee the loading of trucks, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with legal weight limits. Attend project meetings and provide inputs on planning and progress. Analyse productivity data and recommend improvements. Monitor and track project progress; identify risks, delays, and deviations. Develop detailed project schedules using tools like MS Project or Primavera. Monitor and track project progress; identify risks, delays, and deviations. Prepare and update progress reports, dashboards, and timelines. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Design, Procurement, Production, QA/QC, etc.). Forecast resource requirements and allocate appropriately to meet project deadlines. Attend project meetings and provide inputs on planning and progress. Analyse productivity data and recommend improvements. Ensure alignment of actual progress with project baselines. Maintain records and documentation of schedule updates and changes.
