Oversee day-to-day operations of the palliative care unit or mobile care services.
Maintain patient records, route logs, and schedules.
Coordinate home visits and ensure timely delivery of palliative care services.
Communicate with healthcare staff, patients, and families regarding care plans.
Ensure medicines and essential supplies are available during visits.
Safely drive palliative care staff to patient homes or care facilities.
Ensure vehicle is in good condition and maintained regularly.
Follow scheduled routes and respond to emergency transport needs if required.
Assist in the setup of home care visits (e.g., basic equipment, positioning, comfort).
Offer physical support to patients when needed under staff supervision.
Provide basic psychosocial support through respectful and empathetic behavior.
Valid driving license with a clean record.
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and route planning.
Basic understanding of palliative care principles.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy, patience, and a calm demeanor in emotionally sensitive situations.
Time management and organizational skills.
Ability to handle emergencies and provide basic first aid (preferred).
