Job Summary:

MEP Billing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and verify contractor/client bills for MEP works in line with BOQ and site progress.
Check measurements, quantities, and work completion before billing.
Coordinate with project/site teams to validate work progress and raise deviations if any.
Maintain billing records, including work orders, RA bills, and final bills.
Assist in preparation of project budgets and cost estimates for MEP packages.
Liaise with contractors for timely submission and certification of bills.
Monitor cost overruns and highlight discrepancies to the project manager.
Prepare reconciliation statements for materials and work orders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3–6 years of relevant experience in MEP billing, preferably in real estate or contracting firms.
Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing software (e.g., ERP/SAP/Primavera).
Good knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, and billing procedures.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
