Managing Director (MD)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for the India business, with full P&L accountability.
• Drive business expansion, market share growth, and operational excellence across manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial functions.
• Lead multi-functional teams across engineering, production, R&D, finance, sales & marketing, and policy advocacy.
• Champion the clean mobility vision and position the company as a market leader in sustainable transportation solutions.
• Build strategic partnerships with OEMs, government bodies, suppliers, and ecosystem players.
• Oversee compliance, governance, and corporate ethics while fostering a high-performance and innovation-driven culture.
• Represent the company externally with media, investors, and key industry forums.

Candidate Profile

• 20+ years of leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CEO/MD/Business Head capacity within

  automotive, EV, mobility, or clean-tech industries

• Proven track record of scaling businesses, leading turnarounds, or launching new ventures in high-growth sectors.
• Strong understanding of the EV/clean mobility value chain including technology, manufacturing, policy, and infrastructure.
• Sharp business acumen with a strategic mindset, operational depth, and stakeholder management excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and cross-cultural teams in dynamic environments.
• Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology and MBA from a reputed institution preferred.
