Manager - Operations

As a Mortgage Operations Manager at New American Funding (NAF) - India, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of mortgage origination, processing, underwriting, closing, and servicing. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and mentor the operations team leads to ensure productivity, accuracy, and quality standards are met consistently. You will be tasked with analyzing operational metrics and preparing performance reports for senior management, providing strategic solutions to operational challenges, and contributing towards process improvement initiatives. It will be essential to ensure that the processes are executed according to Standard Operating Procedures and that daily work is managed within specified timelines. In this role, you will align team members with the needs of the onshore team, allocate targets, and facilitate tool usage to support task performance effectively. Monitoring workflow, tracking team performance, deploying resources, and planning capacity will be part of your regular responsibilities. Additionally, you will review key process metrics, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to enhance quality parameters, and manage shift operations and leave planning efficiently. To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of 10+ years of experience, with 5 to 7 years of team handling experience. Strong knowledge of US mortgage regulations and guidelines will be considered an added advantage. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential, along with expertise in using MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. You should possess excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, a strong control awareness, and the ability to build and motivate teams effectively.
