Salary: 25,000 - 50,000 INR per month

Job Summary:

DECG INTERNATIONAL is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level Maintenance Engineer with proven experience in the fabrication industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of all plant machinery and equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all fabrication machinery and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they lead to breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems in a timely manner.
• Perform repair and maintenance work on various types of fabrication equipment, including but not limited to welding machines, cutting machines, presses, and material handling systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to operations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Train and mentor junior maintenance staff, if required.
• Manage relationships with external service providers and vendors for specialized repairs or parts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer, specifically within the fabrication industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Experience with PLC programming and automation systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.
