Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Language Editing Manager located in Puducherry, India. The Language Editing Manager will oversee the language editing team, ensuring high-quality editorial standards. Key responsibilities include managing workflows, coordinating with other departments, implementing quality control procedures, and mentoring junior editors. The manager will handle client communication, provide regular performance feedback, and may be involved in hiring new team members. Ensuring all content complies with client-specific requirements and industry standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Language Editing, Proofreading, and Quality Control
• Strong management and team leadership skills, including workflow management and team coordination
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with industry standards and client-specific requirements
• Ability to work on-site in Puducherry, India
• Experience in training and mentoring junior editors
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in scientific research or technical content will be advantageous
