Structural Design & First-Principle Innovation:

• Apply deep understanding of structural principles to design

  steel, concrete, and composite structures

  for our modular building components and systems.
• Utilize

  first-principle thinking

  to innovate and optimize structural designs for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA), creating components that seamlessly integrate into our building manufacturing platform.
• Develop solutions that prioritize

  cost-effectiveness, speed of construction, and scalability

  without compromising safety or durability.

Advanced Engineering & Automation:

• Leverage expertise in

  BIM tools

  such as

  Revit and Tekla

  for detailed structural modeling, analysis, and documentation.
• Demonstrate a strong ability to

  automate

  repetitive design tasks and

  rapidly learn and adapt to new software

  and technologies as required for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with our technology team to integrate structural design processes into our digital manufacturing workflows.

Project & Partner Management:

• Manage complex engineering projects, ensuring structural designs are executed precisely and efficiently from concept to completion.
• Work closely with a diverse ecosystem of partners, including:

• Structural fabrication drawings partners

• Structural design partners

• Shop drawing partners

• Architectural drawings partners

• Project quality management partners

• Ensure rigorous quality control at every stage, verifying that buildings are constructed exactly as designed and intended.

Academic & Construction Collaboration:

• Coordinate actively with

  IIT Madras professors

  to vet structural designs, ensuring academic rigor and incorporating cutting-edge research.
• Maintain continuous collaboration with our construction teams to gather feedback, identify areas for

  continuous innovation

  , and refine designs for enhanced

  DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly)

• Education:

  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a reputed institution.

• Experience:

  3+ years of progressive experience in structural engineering design, with a proven track record in steel, concrete, and composite structures, ideally with exposure to modular or prefabricated construction.

• Technical Prowess:

• Deep understanding of structural mechanics and design codes.
• Expert proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Tekla Structures).
• A strong aptitude for automation, scripting, and quickly mastering new engineering software.
