Lead - Communication Officer

Job Purpose:

To lead the delivery of functional and organizational targets, while leading/ supporting communication for the entire organization and managing company reputation. Support functional head in strategizing the functional objectives, manage and execute the day to day roles and responsibilities of the function. The incumbent will be responsible for Corporate Reputation, Policy Advocacy, Emerging Mobility, Global Business (Latin America, Africa & Europe) and Global Sports.

Key Responsibilities :

• Be the Custodian of the Corporate Reputation of Hero MotoCorp. Strategically Build and Enhance the Corporate Reputation of Hero MotoCorp in the public domain – both domestic and globally
• Proactive & Strategic approach to enhance the public profiling of the Chairman & CEO, the Leadership Team & the Board of Directors – both in the domestic market and globally.
• Develope a comprehensive strategic roadmap to help Hero MotoCorp navigate and lead regulatory and policy shifts amid emerging mobility trends and global market volatility
• Act as the single point of contact with key industry bodies (SIAM, ACMA), government entities (ministries), and chambers (CII, FICCI) in India and strategic global markets.
• Lead enterprise-level crisis management with a proactive, strategic communication approach. Developed a Crisis Management Playbook with clear escalation protocols and served as the single point of contact for all critical situations, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
• Own and execute market-specific communication strategies across Africa, South & Central America, Europe, and future western markets—covering end-to-end corporate and product communication for both ICE and EV segments.
• Lead strategic communication for EMBU across products, services, innovation, partnerships, customer initiatives, and market expansion.
• Own and maximize impact of all key sports partnerships

Academic Qualification : Bachelor's + Masters

Experience: 14 yrs.

Technical Skills/Knowledge : High language Proficiency (English, Hindi), Media relations, crisis management

Behavioural Skills : Effective communications, team leader, navigational skills in large complex

environment
