Junior Python Developer

Location: Delhi (Hybrid – 2 days/week in office)
Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹55,000 per month

• B.Tech in Computer Science, or

About the Role

We are hiring a Junior Python Developer to support and scale our AI infrastructure backend systems. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and AI researchers to build and manage tools, services, and systems using modern Python frameworks. This is a backend-focused role, ideal for someone enthusiastic about automation, clean backend architecture, and contributing to production-grade AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using FastAPI, Django, and SQLAlchemy
• Maintain and optimize our Python 3.11+ based infrastructure
• Manage database schemas and migrations using Alembic
• Build, test, and deploy scalable API-driven services
• Work closely with the AI team to support data pipelines and infrastructure needs
• Use Python libraries such as numpy, pandas, and diffusers as part of service development
• Ensure secure handling of API keys and backend configurations
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Python 3.11+ and modern Python practices
• Experience with FastAPI or Django
• Familiarity with SQLAlchemy, Alembic, and writing raw SQL queries
• Strong understanding of backend development principles
• Comfortable using numpy, pandas, or related libraries in a backend context
• Understanding of how to integrate and maintain APIs securely
• Awareness of best practices in backend performance and architecture

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of AI-focused developer tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Cline, or Windsurf
• Familiarity with Python-based AI libraries like diffusers
• Experience working on infrastructure projects supporting AI models or pipelines
• Comfort with Git, CI/CD, and modern developer workflows
