Job Summary

The Junior Accountant will assist in managing day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. The role requires solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. You will work closely with the Senior Accountant and finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and adherence to company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Record journal entries and maintain accounting documentation.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Handle day-to-day inquiries regarding financial transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and file tax documents, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Support audits, both internal and external, by providing required documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial management.
• Assist with payroll preparation and ensure timely payment of employees.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with financial reporting tools.
• Basic knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
• Understanding of payroll processes.
