The BNP Paribas Fortis IT department is working in Agile mode, which offers a challenging and motivating environment where teams and employees are empowered to manage their own technical domain.
You will work in the IT Security Production Tribe, within the squad Web Application Firewall squad. This squad works closely together with Cyber Defense to protect the companys online banking applications
Responsibilities
The mission has different aspects:
- Building, testing, deploying, analyzing, administering, and maintaining enterprise F5 Platforms with a focus on Reverse Proxy, Authentication, Monitoring & Protection (RAMP) services
- Configuring, conducting, and managing the F5 ASM, APM and LTM modules
- Good knowledge of TCL, TMSH, F5 Rest API, F5 Python SDK
- Develop and maintain advanced F5 ASM/APM/LTM iRules and scripts
- Technical testing of significant maintenance, operational, upgrade activities and process enhancements/updates
- Integration of web applications in the Web Security Infrastructure
- Share knowledge on generic security components such as PKI, reverse proxies, SSL, LDAP ...
- Assist in production support (incident, problem and change management) for the Web Application firewall squad.
- Monitor and report on Web site traffic and performance.
- Participate in the On-Call calendar (7/7 18:00 7:30) CET
- Good knowledge of Akamai Kona site defender
Technical & Behavioral Competencies Mandatory
Strong System administration experience with the F5 Big-IP Application Security Manager (ASM), Access Policy Manager (APM) and Local Traffic Manager (LTM) including tmsh and iRules
Strong knowledge on Akamai Kona site defender and Akamai control center gui
Strong experience in managing a complex WAF environment in the sector of financial services
Strong in-dept knowledge on Web application firewalls, HTTP, TCP, SSL and PKI
Generic knowledge on: Web access management, anti-virus, firewalls, load balancers, networks and DMZ
Knowledge of scripting languages: Python, TCL or Perl
Preferable
Experience with developing, testing and maintaining REST based services and APIs
Information Security related background
Familiar with an agile environment
