JOB BRIEF – IT Support Engineer

Job Title: IT Support Engineer

Pay Structure: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month
Reporting To: Technical Director
Location: Gurgaon (Candidate must be residing in Gurgaon or ready to relocate)

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage server hardware, including ILO setup and Active Directory (AD) environments.
• Configure and maintain RAID levels (RAID 1/5/10) for optimal data integrity and performance.
• Manage and secure Active Directory (AD) environments and enforce security policies.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V).
• Install and troubleshoot firewalls, configure VPNs, and ensure strong network security.
• Administer and maintain reliable data backup solutions like Acronis or similar.
• Provide basic Linux server support (Ubuntu or similar) – an added advantage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in Windows Server management and RAID configurations.
• Hands-on expertise in virtualization platforms (VMware/Proxmox/Hyper-V).
• Proficient in firewall installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of VPN technologies and configurations.
• Working knowledge of data backup and disaster recovery tools (e.g., Acronis).
• Basic administrative skills in Linux environments (preferred but not mandatory).

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, VCP, RHCSA, or equivalent.
• Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Education

• Minimum: Graduate in any discipline / B.Tech / MCA / Computer Science / IT equivalent.
• Technical: Professional certification in Networking or Microsoft Technologies is required.

Experience

• Minimum: 8+ years of experience in the IT infrastructure/support field.
• Cloud/IT Support Role: Minimum 1 years required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
