Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Architect to lead the design and development of secure, scalable, and high-availability backend systems.If you're a hands-on architect who enjoys coding, mentoring, and driving product-focused architecture, we'd love to connect!

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and build scalable systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
  • Stay 40-50% hands-on with coding, reviews, and setting technical standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business goals into tech solutions
  • Guide DevOps and CI/CD strategy for deployment readiness
  • Mentor developers and lead design discussions across teams
  • Own the technical roadmap and performance optimization

Must-Have Skills

  • 10+ years of backend development experience
  • Deep expertise in Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST APIs
  • Strong grasp of Microservices architecture and distributed systems
  • Proficient in SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Cloud experience - AWS / Azure / GCP
  • Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins and related tools

Nice To Have

  • Messaging systems : Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ
  • Frontend exposure : Angular or React
  • Agile team experience (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Prior experience with startups or product-led teams
