Job Description – Broadband Technician & Cable TV Technician Company: Rajesh Digital and Datacom Pvt Ltd  Location: Kurla, Mumbai  Job Type: Full-Time  --- 1. Broadband Technician  Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and troubleshoot fiber and broadband internet connections at customer premises.  - Handle ONU/ONT device installation and ensure proper signal strength.  - Diagnose and repair issues related to network connectivity, slow speeds, and frequent disconnections.  - Perform fiber splicing and wire maintenance when required.  - Conduct online ping tests and check for request timeouts to troubleshoot connectivity issues.  - Coordinate with the NOC team for backend troubleshooting and escalations.  - Educate customers on basic troubleshooting steps.  - Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and customer feedback.  - Register tickets for unresolved issues directly in the CRM system.  - Follow safety guidelines and company protocols while handling fiber equipment.  Requirements: - Prior experience in broadband installation and troubleshooting is preferred.  - Basic knowledge of fiber optics, networking, and ONT/ONU devices.  - Ability to use networking tools like LAN testers, fiber power meters, and splicing machines.  - Good problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.  - Willingness to work flexible hours and travel locally for installations and repairs.  --- 2. Cable TV Technician Responsibilities: - Install and activate cable TV set-top boxes (STBs) for new and existing customers.  - Troubleshoot signal issues, channel disruptions, and STB errors.  - Ensure proper wiring and connectivity for seamless TV service.  - Perform cable maintenance, including repairing or replacing damaged wires.  - Assist in customer migration to new service plans or packages.  - Ensure compliance with the 9-day payment policy for STB shutdowns.  - Work with collection agents to ensure STB reactivations post-payment.  - Provide customers with information on package upgrades and new offerings.  - Maintain service records and report technical issues to the operations team.  Requirements: - Prior experience in cable TV installation and maintenance is a plus.  - Understanding of STB configurations, signal amplifiers, and cable networking.  - Ability to troubleshoot TV signal issues effectively.  - Good communication skills for customer interactions.  - Willingness to work flexible shifts and respond to service calls.  --- Perks & Benefits - Competitive salary and incentives  - Training and certification opportunities  - Travel allowances (for field visits)  - Growth opportunities within Rajesh Digital  If you’re interested, apply now! 🚀
