Role Overview

We’re looking for a talented and imaginative Furniture Designer to join our design team. You’ll conceptualize and develop furniture collections from sketch to prototype, working closely with product development, marketing, and fabrication partners. Your designs should reflect our core values: sustainability, functionality, aesthetic innovation, and a touch of whimsy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop original furniture designs aligned with Knock on Woof’s brand ethos and customer lifestyle.
• Create sketches, technical drawings, 3D models, and detailed specifications for production.
• Collaborate with carpenters, engineers, and vendors to build prototypes and finalize materials.
• Research trends in interior design, materials, manufacturing techniques, and user behavior.
• Balance creativity with cost-effective, scalable production solutions.
• Source sustainable and innovative materials where possible.
• Participate in product reviews, testing, and iteration cycles.
• Support marketing with product storytelling, usage guides, and launch visuals.

Requirements

• Degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience designing furniture (custom or production-based).
• Strong portfolio showcasing original furniture design and thinking process.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Rhino, SolidWorks, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite).
