Job Description

Overview:

The Inside Sales Prospect Development team plays a pivotal role in delivering a best-in-class customer experience at Boyd. In this role, you will be responsible for qualifying inbound global sales leads with speed, professionalism, and precision. Youll also support revenue growth by proactively engaging new global prospects, providing timely responses and product guidance, and initiating strategic sales conversations before routing qualified opportunities to the global account management team.

Timings: 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM

Experience: 5 to 8 years

Scope of the Role:

  • Support distributor engagement efforts to sustain and grow revenue through channel partners.

  • Assist in onboarding and supporting Manufacturer Representatives to increase coverage and customer engagement intensity.

  • Initial focus will be on promoting Boyd Thermal solutions, with expansion into Boyds broader global product portfolio (Thermal and EM).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate high-potential sales opportunities while nurturing leads through the full sales funnel to drive sustained revenue growth.

  • Handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and CRM platforms.

  • Qualify inbound leads from diverse channels including HubSpot, website inquiries, tradeshows, and webinars and ensure prompt and professional follow-up.

  • Actively engage prospects through direct outreach and proactive sales calls, promoting Boyd's comprehensive product portfolio and escalating qualified leads to the field sales team when appropriate.

  • Deliver responsive pre-sales support by addressing technical inquiries, guiding prospects through early engagement stages, and aligning solutions with their business needs.

  • Contribute to account development through strategic upselling and cross-selling initiatives while fostering long-term customer relationships.

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all customer interactions and activities within CRM platforms such as Salesforce and HubSpot.

  • Consistently achieve or surpass defined sales goals and performance metrics, demonstrating a results-driven and customer-focused approach.

Qualifications:

  • Must have Engineering background

  • Minimum 5 years of selling experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce

  • Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Goal-oriented and self-driven with the ability to manage a high volume of opportunities
