Information Technology Project Manager

As an experienced IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of IT projects for the organization. Your role will require strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. It is essential to coordinate project teams, manage resources efficiently, and ensure that project goals align with the organization's objectives. Your responsibilities will include planning and managing projects from inception to completion by defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. You will develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against these plans. Coordinating project teams, assigning tasks, and ensuring that team members have the necessary resources to complete their work effectively will be crucial. You must communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders regularly and escalate concerns as needed. Identifying and mitigating project risks, as well as proactively resolving issues to keep projects on track, will be part of your role. Managing project budgets, tracking expenses, monitoring resource utilization, and ensuring project delivery within budget constraints are also key responsibilities. Conducting project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices for future projects is essential. Additionally, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment and providing leadership and guidance to project team members will be vital for success. In terms of requirements, the ideal candidate should have 5 to 11 years of experience in IT project management. The position requires PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and senior management. Excellent organizational and time management abilities are necessary, including the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
