Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Ideation & Project Conceptualization: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in tractors, agri-implements, harvesters, and combines. Drive the ideation and feasibility assessment of backward integration opportunities (e.g., transmission systems, engines, hydraulics). Develop project proposals, business cases, and strategic roadmaps for new initiatives. 2. Market Intelligence & Competitive Benchmarking: Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, policy changes, and competitor strategies. Conduct market studies, gap analyses, and SWOT assessments to identify white spaces and growth avenues. 3. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, finance, sales, and supply chain teams to align project strategies with execution capabilities. Collaborate with external consultants, vendors, and technical partners for project feasibility and benchmarking. 4. Business Case Development & Financial Modeling: Build detailed business models for new projects with projections on ROI, break-even timelines, and risk scenarios. Present strategic recommendations to the Board and Senior Leadership Team. 5. Program Management & Execution Oversight: Act as a strategic partner and high-level project manager to ensure timely execution of approved projects. Track KPIs, milestones, and interdependencies across multiple project streams. 6. Backward Integration Strategy: Evaluate make vs. buy decisions for key tractor and implement components. Lead initiatives to localize or in-source critical components to enhance quality, cost efficiency, and supply chain resilience. Desired Candidate Profile: Proven experience in strategic planning or project leadership roles in agriculture equipment, heavy engineering, or auto ancillary sectors. Strong business acumen with the ability to think both strategically and tactically. Demonstrated success in conceptualizing and launching new business verticals or major product lines. Familiarity with manufacturing ecosystems, vendor development, and product development cycles. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Number of new projects conceptualized and approved Business case accuracy and project ROI Timeliness of project initiation and handoff to execution teams Value created through backward integration (cost savings, quality improvement) Strategic partnerships and alliances formed
